Our Blackberry Liqueur begins with a local Washington wine that is distilled into a brandy. The clear brandy is used to macerate fresh local blackberries picked at their peak of ripeness. The brandy draws out the rich dark crimson color, blackberry flavor and fruit aroma from the blackberries. Then basil is introduced in the blending process to enrich the fresh aroma of the Blackberry Liqueur. Cocktail: This well-balanced fresh blackberry basil liqueur can be enjoyed neat or add a splash to a dry sparkling wine! One our favorites is a Blackberry Basil Lemonade (1 oz of Blackberry Liqueur and 5 oz of lemonade over ice).
